Specs

  • Our approach to the Sport Classic focuses on restoring and reinterpreting the 964 or 993 through the visual language of the early long-hood era. Proportions, surfacing, and details are guided by period correctness rather than reinterpretation, resulting in a design that feels timeless, familiar, and intentional. Each vehicle is developed in collaboration with its owner, allowing subtle personalization while preserving the integrity of the original form.

  • Each project begins with a matching-numbers 964 or 993 donor vehicle with a clean title. All vehicles retain their original VIN, identity, and chassis architecture.

  • The donor vehicle is fully disassembled and stripped to bare metal. Corrosion is addressed, and the underbody is treated for long-term protection before an extensive paint preparation and full repaint. Exterior bodywork is reconfigured using period-inspired components, maintaining factory-like fit, finish, and visual restraint.

    Clients have the following options:

    • 3.6L with 280-300 HP (high torque or high rev).

    • 3.8L with 300-360 HP (high torque or high rev) (upgrade).

    Turbo options available for additional investment.

    All major components are refinished as appropriate using powder coating or ceramic finishes to ensure durability and long-term serviceability.

  • The original electrical architecture is retained, reflecting a deliberate respect for the integrity of the platform. All systems are comprehensively inspected, with selective component renewal performed to support reliability, ease of service, and long-term ownership.

  • Exterior and interior lighting systems are updated using bespoke Abreu Motors designed LED components. Headlights, turn signals, side markers, and interior illumination are upgraded to improve clarity and longevity while maintaining a period-correct appearance.

  • New front windshield and rear window are installed using OEM-style seals. Bespoke Abreu Motors designed mirrors are fitted, with finishes and detailing selected to complement the vehicle’s overall aesthetic. Factory badging and exterior trim are specified in accordance with the design intent of each build.

  • Wheel, tire, brake, and suspension specifications are selected to preserve a compliant, confidence-inspiring driving character. Suspension tuning favors road feel and composure, while braking performance is upgraded discreetly to match modern driving conditions without altering the car’s visual balance.

    Transmission and differential components are retained where possible and selectively refreshed to ensure smooth operation and long-term durability.

  • Each Sport Classic is finished in a color selected in collaboration with the client. While the brands heritage colors are commonly specified, the palette is not limited to factory offerings, allowing for a thoughtful and personal expression that remains consistent with the vehicle’s period character.

  • The interior is fully stripped and restored with new sound insulation, bespoke Garrett leather upholstery, custom carpeting, and a new headliner. Materials, colors, and finishes are specified in collaboration with the client, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, tactility, and restraint. Spinneybeck leather available as an upgrade.The instrument panel, seating, steering wheel, pedals, shifter, seat belts, and interior controls are newly specified to create a cohesive and authentic cabin environment.

    Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) is integrated discreetly, providing modern functionality without disrupting the original design language. New speakers, trims, and finishes complete the interior.
