Rooted in the glamour of the 1970s and refined through modern proportion and detail, our work reflects a simple belief: the air-cooled 911 needs no correction. What we create is not a reinvention, but a considered evolution; one that amplifies the essence of the 911 without compromising the soul that defines it. Every car is built with reliability and serviceability in mind, using proven factory 911 architecture and components, so it can be maintained by any qualified 911 specialist, anywhere.
The Philosophy
At Abreu Motors, we believe legendary automotive design is not a final statement, but a foundational canvas. We are not preservationists; we are creators focused on the evolution of the machine.
Through thousands of hours of focused, handcrafted labor, we take a classic platform and fuse it with modern aerodynamic principles and advanced engineering. The result is a bespoke, high-drama machine that respects its lineage while offering a driving experience that is distinctly modern and enticingly aggressive.
Fabi Abreu
Founder & Lead Designer
Fabi’s relationship with the automobile began with drawing.
From an early age, he developed an instinctive understanding of form, proportion, and movement through constant observation and sketching. At a very young, sixteen, he found a 1966 Mustang in a barn and began restoring it at night. That first car transformed a childhood fascination into a lifelong discipline.
Over the decades that followed, he worked closely around the Porsche marque, developing his knowledge through direct experience with the cars, their construction, materials, and the design decisions that have allowed the 911 to remain relevant across generations.
Today, Fabi leads the creative direction of every ABREU MOTORS commission. The owner’s perspective becomes the starting point, then passes through a disciplined process of proportion, material selection, mechanical development, and detail refinement until the entire car speaks with one clear voice.
“The 911 was ahead of its time when it was introduced. Our role is not to redesign what already works. It is to preserve the character of the car, renew what time has diminished, and carefully evolve the components that can benefit from modern standards. Each commission should carry the owner’s point of view while remaining unmistakably a 911.”
